For the last few days the NWS in LaCrosse has been keeping track of storm that will enter our area Monday night. Early predictions did not give snow totals but reinforced the potential for heavy snow. Last night the National Weather Service in LaCrosse gave us our first look at the potential totals of this snow storm. Originally they had Rochester in the 8+ area for snow fall. By this morning that number grew to 8-10 inches possible with blowing and drifting snow. NWS warning " Travel impacts could go from slippery...to hazardous...to treacherous quickly."
