The Dunn County Sheriff’s Department sent out a press release today detailing an accident that happened yesterday at 4:25pm when a chunk of ice fell off a truck and went through the windshield of a car. The Sheriff’s Office is asking for everyone to slow down and take time to clean your vehicle off prior to traveling on the highways. In this case the driver sustained only minor injuries but it could have easily ended much worse.
