Tesla, originally formed in Sacramento, California in 1986 to record their debut album, ‘Mechanical Resonance.’ In an era when rock bands wore leather pants, flashy makeup, and were characterized by their hair, Tesla simply wore T-shirts and jeans to set themselves apart from the other hard rock bands of the 1980s. However, it wasn’t just their T-shirts that set them apart from the rest; their music was unique in and of itself.
After a 6 year break that ended in 2000, Tesla reunited and has been back at it again. We are sure to hear such memorable tracks including “Signs,” “Modern Day Cowboy,” and “Love Song” that established Tesla as one of the greatest musical acts to come out of the 1980s.
