Police Dog Finds Suspect Hiding In A Dryer

Police in Spokane, Washington found a suspect despite his best efforts to hide from them. The police department shared the story on Facebook, along with a photo of the suspect stuffed inside of a dryer.

Officers from the Domestic Violence Unit were responding to a tip that "an offender may go back to the victim's home, thus be in violation of a protection order."

When officers arrived, they spotted the suspect, who quickly ran away and locked himself inside the apartment. When police entered the home, they could not find the man, but luckily they had a K9 unit with them. The dog quickly located the suspect, and the cops could not believe where he was hiding.

Somehow, the suspect had managed to stuff himself inside of "an apartment sized stackable washer and dryer combo."

Police pulled the man from the dryer and arrested him. He was charged with violating a no-contact order.

“We had information from another jurisdiction that they had probable cause to arrest him for that charge, and he was found in our jurisdiction to have violated a protection order at the address he was found at in Spokane,” police spokeswoman Corporal Teresa Fuller said in a statement to Fox News.
