Stand-up comedian Nick Swardson comes to the Island Event Center

Comedian, screenwriter, actor, producer and Minnesota native Nick Swardson, brings his hilarious comedy to the Island Event Center on December 28.

Nick began acting and performing improv at the young age of 16. While in high school he launched his stand-up comedy act at the Minneapolis Acme Comedy Co. By the time he graduated high school he was looking for bigger and better opportunities, moving first to New York then to Los Angeles to work the nightclub circuit.

Nick has been a regular on television with such specials as COMEDIANS of the World on Netflix, one-hour specials and Nick Swardson’s Pretend Time on Comedy Central and his recurring role as Terry on Reno 911!, just to name a few. His film credits include Grandma’s Boy, The Benchwarmers and Just Go with It.

Swardson’s unique comedy view has made him a regular guest on The Late Show withStephen Colbert, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Kimmel Live! and Conan.

Tickets go on sale Friday, September 20 at 10am. Tickets are $79, $69 and $39. Tickets are available at or at the Island Box Office. The show starts at 8pm. All attendees must be 16 years of age or older, and fans ages 16 and 17 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
