Keeping Pets Safe On the 4th Plus Maria's Mutts & Stuff Encore

Seems like everyone's been shooting off fireworks for weeks right?

Well it's annoying to us but just think how annoying it is to our pets! With the holiday weekend fast approaching,

here are some tips from the Suffolk County SPCA:

"Loud, crowded fireworks displays are no fun for pets, so please resist the urge to take them to Independence Day festivities. Instead, keep your little guys safe from the noise in a quiet, sheltered and escape-proof area at home. Turn on some music to drown out noise from fireworks. Make sure your pet always wears a collar and identification tag...Use the same caution for your pets as you do for your children."

Last year I chatted with Phyllis Taiano, founder of Four Paws Sake NYC about the 4th of July and your pets.

Here's an encore of Maria's Mutts & Stuff!
