A lot of us spent time working on our lawns and gardens this weekend when the weather was so nice but I promise you did not run into this problem. ABC6 News reporting that a woman who was having some garden work done Friday morning called police after the gardner found a hand grenade. Rochester police described the grenade as a WWII era grenade that was potentially active. Once identified the St. Paul Bomb Squad was called to the scene and removed the grenade without incident.
