The Minnesota Wild's Jason Zucker, brought his #Give16 campaign to Dover-Eyota Elementary School today to personally thank a student that helped raise money for the charity. Amazing work by 2nd-grader Maggie McLaughlin who put together a raffle that raised over $1800.00. Which will be put towards a Zucker Family Suite and Broadcast Studio at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital. The studio will be nearly 800-square-foot space for patients, families and friends to feel like they are escaping the hospital.
#Give16 is in honor of Jason's No. 16 jersey with the Wild and the Zuckers are encouraging people to give back in forms of '16,' from 16 cents to $16,000 or anything in between.
Donations can be made directly to Zucker's Crowdfund site.
Jason will give $1,600 for every goal Jason scores this season.
Here is an exclusive interview with Jason and KFAN's Greg Henn.
