Winter Storm Warning Wednesday

The National Weather Service has placed parts of SE Minnesota in a Winter Storm Warning from 7 am Wednesday morning until 1 am Thursday morning.  Here is a timeline of what to expect.

...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM WEDNESDAY TO 1 AM CDT THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 5 to 8 inches.

* WHERE...Portions of northeast Iowa and southeast Minnesota.

* WHEN...From 7 AM Wednesday to 1 AM CDT Thursday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on difficult travel conditions,   including during the morning and evening commutes Wednesday.   Expect significant reductions in visibility at times.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow, sleet and ice will make travel very hazardous or impossible. The latest road conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.
