The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office, U.S. Marshals Service, and the Lee County (Florida) Sheriff’s Office continue to ask for the public’s assistance in locating LOIS ANN RIESS, wanted in connection with the murder of her husband David Riess in Minnesota, and the subsequent murder of Pamela Hutchinson in Florida.
The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office today released this surveillance video obtained by investigators from the KUM and GO gas station next to Diamond Jo Casino in Northwood, Iowa. The video shows Lois Riess approach the cashier, purchase a sandwich, and ask for directions south of the state. This video was from March 23, 2018 at approximately 630 p.m.
This is the only video investigators have located to date with audio of Riess speaking. Investigators hope that her voice on this video, in addition to other videos and images released, will help someone recognize her and report her whereabouts so she can be taken into custody before anyone else gets hurt or killed.
Lois Riess was last seen driving Pamela Hutchinson’s vehicle, a white Acura TL, with Florida license plate Y37TAA.
Anyone who has had any recent contact with Lois Riess or who has any information on her whereabouts is urged to contact the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) Tipline at 1-877-996-6222. Callers can remain anonymous.
Riess should be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. Anyone who sees her should call 911.
