This has to be one of the strangest stories I have ever heard but rest assured it is 100% true. There is a new Spring Football league that will begin after the 2019 NFL Super Bowl. It is called the Alliance of American Football. Former Minnesota Vikings Head coach Brad Childress will lead a team based in Atlanta that will play at Georgia State Stadium and former Atlanta QB Michael Vick will be the offensive coordinator. The Alliance of American Football will be comprised of eight teams that will play a 12-game schedule, kicking off Feb. 9, 2019 and running through late April.
Former Vikings defensive end Jared Allen is an investor in the league and retired NFL stars Justin Tuck, Hines Ward and Troy Polamalu will work in the league's front office.
Well Atlanta, looks like you’re in good hands! #AllianceATL Head Coach Brad Childress and Offensive Coordinator @MichaelVick will be building their Alliance in the great state of Georgia.
