Minnesota is slowly coming back to life after a Polar Vortex brought some of the coldest air in decades to our state. Temperatures dropped to over 40 below zero and 65 below wind chills. Even for Minnesota this was cold but it did lead to people doing science experiments in the cold weather. One such example was a neighborhood in Minneapolis that saw people dipping their pants in water and setting them outside to freeze in just a few minutes. The pants brigade got the attention of TIme magazine that chronicled the strange fad.
