Sometimes Minnesotans can get lost in the snow drift that is our weather early in the year. We get so focused on plowing and school closures we loose sight of the fact that there is a whole other world out there. For example the beautiful escape that is Hawaii. But guess what? They got snow too. A powerful storm brought 191 mph winds and snow for the first time in a Hawaii state park. They even got snow drifts over 4 feet. So it does make the soul feel better knowing we are sharing the pain with a tropical island.
