Did you know that Nirvana spent time in Cannon Falls MN. They did!

Today marks the 25th anniversary of the death of Nirvana founder and front man Kurt Cobain at the age of 27.

Did you know that Nirvana had a pretty significant association to Cannon Falls Minnesota?

They did. They took over a recording studio there for a couple weeks called Pachyderm Studios in February 1993.Nirvana recorded the follow up album to "Nevermind" called "In Utero" which carried songs like "All Apologies".

So the next time you hear All Apologizes on the radio know it was recorded in your backyard.

Oh and also "In Utero" debuted at No. 1 when it was released in September 1993.

The YouTube video is the 20th anniversary edition of the album and the original recording made in Cannon Falls.
