Rochester native Marcus Sherels is returning home to the Minnesota Vikings and this could not come at a better time. According to the report the Minnesota Vikings brought Marcus in for a physical and he passed. Sunday against the Oakland Raiders, Chad Beebe the Minnesota Vikings punt returner was carted off the field with what we now know is torn ligaments in his ankle. It will be a while before he returns and the special teams needed a secure punt returner so it just makes sense. Welcome back Marcus. This season would not have been the same without you.
