The Minnesota Department of Transportation has released the winners of the 2022 “Name A Snowplow” contest. One Snowplow in 8 districts will receive a new name by the end of the month. Minnesotans love this contest and the proof is in the voting. Almost 60,000 people voted on the names.
And the winners are:
Betty Whiteout – District 8 Far SW Minnesota
Ctrl Salt Delete – District 7 Includes Mankato and Windom MN
The Big Leplowski – District 4 Mid-West Minnesota
Plowasaurus Rex – Metro District Twin Cities
Scoop Dogg – District 3 Mid Central MN
Blizzard of Oz – District 2 Upper NW MN
No More Mr. Ice Guy – District 1 Upper NE MN
Edward Blizzardhands – District 6 Includes Rochester, Austin ad Albert Lea
