REPORT: Vikings could meet with ex-Titans Guard Josh Kline this week

Tennessee Titans v New York Giants

The market for offensive linemen in this year's NFL Free Agency class has been bonkers. The top end available players have been getting record setting contracts, very quickly pricing themselves out of the Vikings market.

But then there's a group a veteran players that find themselves late cuts or the victims of contract restructures gone bad that are available at an affordable rate. This is the market that the Vikings will be shopping from with so little wiggle room in the cap space as it is already.

Enter ex-Titans guard Josh Kline.

Released by Tennessee earlier this week after the two sides couldn't agree on a restructured deal, Kline became available when it wasn't sure that he would be. Still on the market to improve their offensive line, it's not reported that sources within the Vikings headquarters are interested in meeting with Kline this week.

According to Ben Goessling of the Star Tribune, that meeting could go down this week.

As always, it takes two to tango and both the Vikings and Kline will have to agree on the role, the cost and the length of a potential deal, but at least it sounds like the two sides are in talks to kick those tired a bit.
